Our Story

Koatas was developed to solve a problem that many teams struggle with daily. Email Management.

The platform was originally created inside Multitech Solutions, an engineering and construction business operating in a highly regulated, project driven environment where email is central to daily operations. Like many businesses, Multitech was experiencing increasing challenges with critical correspondence being spread across multiple inboxes, context was lost, decisions were difficult to trace, and teams were spending unnecessary time searching for information. Handovers were becoming risky, and maintaining visibility across people, projects, and clients was becoming increasingly difficult.

After reviewing available tools and finding that they were either not suited to project based workflows or required significant changes to established processes, Multitech made a deliberate decision to build a solution internally.

That solution became Koatas.

Over several years of internal use, Koatas became embedded in daily operations, materially improving information accessibility, decision traceability, and continuity when staff changed or projects transitioned. Throughout time, it became clear these challenges were not unique to Multitech, neither were they industry specific.

Today, Koatas supports teams across a range of professional environments who need clarity, traceability, and shared visibility across their communications, whether they are managing projects, transactions, or ongoing client work.
